BassFIRST.com is a division of OutdoorsFIRST Media, a growing company headquartered in Rhinelander, WI with an office in La Crosse, WI.

Formed in 2001 out of a desire to push the traditional limits of outdoor-oriented online media, OutdoorsFIRST delivers cutting-edge content to specific groups of anglers, hunters and outdoor enthusiasts through its network of species-specific websites.

OutdoorsFIRST principles pioneered live fishing tournament coverage on the web, developing and implementing the "first ever" live leaderboard used in the fishing industry in 1997.

Since then, OutdoorsFIRST has become one of the leaders among muskie, walleye and general fishing web sites.

Fact-based, on-site reporting of events using a wide variety of media is the signature of OutdoorsFIRST Media coverage. OutdoorsFIRST pioneered new features and technologies such as online user photo albums, an industry "News Trawler", streaming video and audio, the fully interactive tournament leaderboard, podcasts, live remote tournament audio, and now, user-generated video uploads with more, much more to come.

OutdoorsFIRST also designs, manages and implements tournament contingency and other programs for companies including Toyota, and provides ground-level marketing services, internet strategy and consulting services for numerous outdoor-industry brands.
