| I've always liked Lund Boats and find them to be very practical fishing machines.
Does anyone out here use one as their bass fishing machine? I know that here in Northern IL they are super popular to use for a variety of fish species.
Let's hear what you think.

| Billy,
How shallow can you get your rig without getting stuck? I fish some real shallow stuff from time to time.
Also, does anyone think Lund will make a bass-style boat again like they used to make in the 90's? |

Location: Ft. Wayne, IN | I will get as shallow as 2 ft maybe 1.5 ft.
I don't really like fishing the really shallow stuff. |

| Should be no problem at all. I use my 21' Tundra for shallow bass fishing all the time. I'm getting ready to take it for the second year to a bass/pike resort, weaving it in and out of stumps in a flooded forest by bowmount where the max depth is about 6 FOW. |

| Thanks for the replies guys.
I'm a bass head, but I also fish for muskie, walleyes and more.
Billy,
You've gotta try some of that shallow slop stuff. Few people fish it, and there are some big bass in the muck. |

| Lund has a bass model coming, I understand, aluminum. I'll ask them for particulars next time we meet. |

| Keep us posted Steve. They used to make a bass boat, I believe, back in the 90's. |

| I own a lund mr pike 18'. It works great for bass fishing as well as all other species. It does handle the shallow fishing fine. |

Location: pillager mn | Have you looked into the predator? I know the 2010 has a flipping deck. Not sure about the other models though. |
