How many of you use senkos or senko style baits.
I personaly like the Stik-O's made by BPS because you get a lot more for a lot cheaper.

Also i usually use the 5in ones but im going to get the 7in ones and im wondering do this still catch some of the smaller fish or if you throw that its a all or nothing kind of thing.

They may not last the longest but i have a lot more confidence in them that any of the knock offs

hey i felt the same way until i tried the BPS kind work just as good maybe better in my opinon and they are a lot cheaper also do any of you guys use O-rings

I'm a big fan of senkos, they are a bit on the expensive side. I've had luck with Yum's, but they are little bit harder. Wish I had a BPS closer so many more options for rubber baits.

They are one of my favorite lures for largemouth bass. Whacky style or Texas rigged.

I've used the Yum Dingers, Senkos, Kinaki Flashes and the BPS Stickos.

Not sure if it makes a difference, but I've caught more using the Yamamotos.

May just be a confidence thing.

well the 7in ones are just too thick i think if they werent so thick they would still work good, but they might work for musky

did you guys notice that fish almost always hit senkos on the inital drop id say 85-90% come on the first fall

The initial drop or dead-sticking it for me as well. I tend to use them like you would a flipping jig or plastic. I'm usually trying to get a reaction on the initial drop.

They are exceptional when pitched under docks. Just let them fall and watch your line.

the only time they dont hit on the initial drop for me is if i lift it again to soon then they hit on the 2nd or sometimes when i go to reel it in real fast they will hit it

I use yamamoto 5" get bit on the initial drop like everyone, but i also work the bait lifting to 12 o'clock a lot with my rod pointing skyward. I try to get the maximum lift i can get for a long tantilizing shimmy on the drop. When wacky rigging i use the BPS O rings and a nail weight works great on windy days or in current. For those of you who have been doing a lot of wacky rigging try Jakall Flickshake worms w/ the wacky jig head they offer. It's become my favorite bait lately.

Location: Stevens Point, WI		I've caught a lot of smallies on senko style plastics. I just slow crank them upstream and let 'em bounce off rocks and such.

Yamamoto Senko's 4 inch and 5 inch. When your tournament fishing you worry less about price and more about results.
