DL - What one fishing technique or lure do you wish would work every time you fish?
BT - Topwater. Specifically a walking bait. Man, if that worked all year and everywhere, that would be great. Throw that thing out there with braid over flats and grass and use monofilament when you target- fish things like docks.
DL - What is your favorite fish to catch?
BT - This is going to sound cliche for a bass fisherman, but smallmouth bass. They just fight so hard and I don't get to fish them that often where I live.
DL - Do you prefer steak or dessert?
BT - Steak, no questions asked. It's just better. I can eat a 20-ounce steak, no way I'm gonna eat a 20-ounce piece of cake.
I like bone-in steaks. When you're done with the main part you can gnaw on the bone like an animal. I've been on a lamb chop kick lately too. Season that meat with some salt and pepper or some garlic and onion powder with some Montreal seasoning. Steak is so good.
